food in elegant surroundings is the hallmark of the Mandarin Gourmet dining
experience.
The
reason we're still here after 18 successful years in the highly competitive Palo
Alto market is the consistent quality of our food offerings and the freshness of
our ingredients. We take pride in our fresh seafood and meat, and we capitalize
on seasonal produce. Our distinctive sauces are always prepared daily and our
dishes are made when ordered, not kept warm on a steam table. We use no MSG, we
reject all but the lightest of vegetable oils, and we steam our vegetables.
This
year we plan to expand our inventive menu with new selections each month, daily
specials and more choices on the luncheon menu. New entrees will also court our
vegetarian diners as well as diners who are watching their waistlines or just
trying to stay healthy. And, of course, we will continue to offer our perennial
favorites, like our prawns with honeyed walnuts, our salt and pepper prawns, and
our minced shrimp or chicken in lettuce cups.
We
promise to keep our restaurant as friendly to family outings and casual dining
as we are for large gatherings, business meetings, special events and that
romantic evening out.
We
